Case study: 824 San Antonio, a senior-living community in Palo Alto
Case study · DARK · 2026-10-29
824 San Antonio is a boutique community of 27 independent and assisted-living residences in Palo Alto, designed around natural light, a green courtyard and care close at hand. The task was to let families feel the place online — before it could be visited.

The challenge
Senior living is a family decision. Adult children often research from far away, and they need to understand the residences, the shared spaces and the feeling of the community quickly and clearly. Plans and specifications alone don't carry that.
What we produced
We created photoreal renders of the community and built a complete website around them, so the visuals and the site speak with one voice.
- Exterior and courtyard renders that show light and greenery
- Interior imagery of residences and shared spaces
- A multi-page website: Residences, Lifestyle & Care, Gallery, Location and Contact
- Clear paths from every page to arranging a visit
Why one studio for renders and site
Because the same team made the images and the website, the site is designed around the strongest views instead of fitting renders into a template. Updates — new imagery, availability, content — happen in one place.
What this means for your project
The same approach fits any residential development in California or elsewhere: renders and a walkthrough from the architectural set, a live 3D tour if needed, and a website that presents it all.
