What exactly does DARK do?
We create 3D animation videos and photorealistic renders of your buildings and properties. Around that core we also produce VR and 360° experiences, interactive Gaussian-splat 3D scans, aerial shots, and the promo and social content to market a project.
Do you work with clients outside Italy?
Yes. The studio is based in Italy and works across Italy and the United States, plus clients worldwide. Everything is delivered remotely and on schedule, in English or Italian.
What do you need to start a project?
Ideally plans, elevations or a 3D model (any format — SketchUp, Revit, CAD, Rhino, ArchiCAD, or even hand sketches), plus reference images for the mood and any material or finish specs. If you only have sketches, that's enough to begin the conversation.
How long does a project take?
A set of still images typically takes a few days to about a week, depending on complexity and how many views. Animation, VR and 3D scans take longer. You always get a clear schedule with your quote, agreed before we start.
How many revisions are included?
Revisions are part of the process, not an upsell. We share draft frames at key stages and refine them until the shot is right, within the scope agreed in the quote.
Do you do both interiors and exteriors?
Yes — both, and often on the same project. From a single interior room to a full architectural exterior with landscape, we cover the whole visual story of a building.
What are Gaussian-splat 3D scans?
A 3D scan (Gaussian splatting) turns photos or a video of a real place into an interactive scene you can drag, orbit and zoom in a browser — no app or plugin. It's ideal for showing existing properties, show-homes and locations to remote buyers.
Can you deliver animation and VR too?
Yes. Alongside stills we produce cinematic flythroughs and walkthroughs, and room-scale VR experiences for headsets like Quest and Vision Pro — useful for sales suites, investor pitches and launches.
What formats do you deliver?
High-resolution images ready for print and web, video in the resolutions and aspect ratios you need (including vertical for social), and browser-ready links for 3D scans and VR. Just tell us where the work will be published.
