What we collect, what we don't.
What we collect: when you submit a contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the message body. When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Netlify) may log your IP address and request data for security and analytics. That's it.
What we don't collect: no third-party cookies, no behavioural ad pixels, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone.
How long we keep it: contact-form data is kept for as long as the project relationship is active, plus 36 months for legal/audit reasons. Server logs are typically retained for 30 days by Netlify.
1 · Data controller
DARK Studio is the data controller for personal data submitted through this site. Reach the data team at privacy@www.dark-render.com.
2 · Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry), consent (where you have provided it via a form), and contract performance (when we are working together). Under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA you have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your data — see section 6.
3 · Cookies & analytics
This site uses no cookies for tracking purposes. Functional cookies (e.g. consent banners or admin authentication tokens stored locally) are first-party and do not leave your device.
4 · Third parties
The site is hosted on Netlify (USA / EU). We may use Google Workspace for email, Google Drive for asset delivery, and standard project-management tooling. No personal data is sent to advertising networks.
5 · International transfers
Personal data submitted through this site may be processed in the United States and the European Union. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
6 · Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Send a request to privacy@www.dark-render.com; we respond within 30 days.
7 · Changes to this policy
We will publish updates here with the date at the top. For material changes we will notify clients with active engagements directly.
